DTJ DESIGN, Inc., a multidisciplinary planning, architecture, and landscape architecture firm based in Boulder, CO, seeks a Designer / Architect to contribute to innovative communities, resorts, and themed environments. In this collaborative, design-driven studio, you will help develop concepts, produce drawings, 3D models, and presentation graphics, and support projects from early planning through documentation. Working closely with cross-disciplinary teams, you'll integrate sustainability, storytelling, and technical rigor into experiential environments while gaining mentorship and opportunities for professional growth and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop architectural and experiential design concepts for communities, resorts, and themed environments
- Produce detailed drawings, 3
- D models, and presentation materials using industry-standard software
- Collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects, and planners in an integrated studio setting
- Coordinate design solutions from concept through documentation with attention to constructability and codes
- Participate in client meetings, reviews, and design workshops to refine project vision
- Incorporate sustainability, usability, and brand experience into all design solutions
- Support preparation of planning and entitlement documents as needed
- Contribute to quality control of drawings and deliverables
- Assist with project scheduling, coordination, and consultant collaboration
- Engage in ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing within the team
