Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Architect to join a growing Atlanta‑based architecture team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in healthcare or higher education
, with additional exposure to large public venues such as convention centers, stadiums, or mixed‑use developments
. This role is designed for someone who can confidently lead projects through all phases, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high‑quality work in complex, fast‑paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project development from programming and schematic design through construction documentation and administration
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery
  • Oversee construction administration tasks including RFIs, submittals, site visits, and field reports
  • Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and building system coordination
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, healthcare/higher‑ed standards, and large‑venue requirements
  • Manage project schedules, deliverables, and quality control
  • Participate in design discussions, problem‑solving, and project planning
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
  • Licensed Architect preferred
  • 5–12+ years of professional experience
    , ideally with project work in healthcare
    , higher education
    , convention centers
    , stadiums
    , or mixed‑use developments
  • Strong understanding of building systems, technical detailing, and code compliance
  • Proficiency in Revit; experience with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Bluebeam, or BIM 360 is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication, organization, and client‑facing skills
