As a Project Manager/Architect
with a passion for higher education facilities, you’ll bring your experience and leadership to meaningful projects that shape the communities we serve. You’ll have the opportunity to lead complex campus projects from concept through completion, collaborate with talented professionals across disciplines, mentor emerging architects, and build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors in an effort to grow our higher education studio.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Architect, you’ll serve as a trusted technical and project leader, helping guide projects of significant scale and complexity while supporting the people around you.

You’ll:

• Lead architectural projects through multiple phases, from conceptual design and planning through construction and completion.
• Develop and communicate design solutions that respond to client goals, project requirements, budget, schedule, and the needs of the community.
• Apply your advanced architectural knowledge to complex projects and help identify creative, practical solutions.
• Coordinate architectural work with engineers, consultants, contractors, clients, and other project partners.
• Oversee technical quality, project documentation, schedules, budgets, and communication.
• Review plans, specifications, reports, estimates, and calculations to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with project goals.
• Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert, sharing your knowledge with project teams and colleagues.
• Participate in conceptual design, programming, planning, and other opportunities where your experience can make an impact.
• Lead QA/QC efforts and cross-discipline coordination to help deliver exceptional work.
• Communicate directly with contractors, clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies throughout the life of a project.
• Identify potential project risks and work proactively with leadership and project teams to address them.
• Represent GMC with professionalism, integrity, and care in every client and community interaction.
