About Create & Learn
Create & Learn is an award-winning computer science education program for K-12 students, based in Silicon Valley, California. It offers over 40 courses covering topics such as coding, game development, AI, robotics, digital design, and cloud computing. The program is co-founded by a former Google Product Director and an Apple engineer, and serves children with varying interests and experience levels.

Reporting to Create & Learn, the Computer Science Workshop Facilitator will deliver and sustain the learning experience for SMASH Scholars. Facilitators will guide a group of around 25 scholars through project-based learning and support their CS skill development and work-readiness understanding.

Role and Schedule

The CS Workshop is scholar-centered and uses projects and challenges. Facilitators will support scholars in conducting learning through inquiry and will guide rather than provide direct answers. The SMASH CS Workshop runs June 15 – July 2, 2026, with an additional pre-launch training. Facilitators should be available on all program days (excluding weekends) for half-day or full-day sessions during the period.

Preference will be given to candidates who can teach in-person in Atlanta, GA;
Ann Arbor, MI;
Berkeley, CA; or Boston, MA. Outside of program dates, candidates may begin teaching virtually with Create & Learn in the spring, as Create & Learn offers virtual CS classes year-round.

You must be available for all training and program dates.
