We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electro-Mechanical Program Facilitator to lead a hybrid training course designed to prepare students for technical excellence working on automated systems. This role involves delivering both theoretical instruction and hands‑on training, while integrating electrical and mechanical systems to support automation technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial automation, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage learners in both virtual and in‑person environments.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging hybrid instruction through a mix of training modules, virtual classrooms, and in‑person lab sessions.
- Guide learners through curriculum covering electrical circuits and systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, control systems, mechanical components and system troubleshooting, as well as preventive maintenance.
- Provide practical demonstrations and supervise hands‑on activities in a lab environment.
- Utilize existing course materials aligned with operational needs.
- Supplement and adapt instructional delivery based on learner progress, engagement, and performance outcomes.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers to provide feedback and suggest improvements.
- Monitor participant progress and provide individualized coaching and support.
- Evaluate technical competencies through assessments, practical demonstrations, and knowledge checks.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and assessment data accurately.
- Coordinate scheduling and preparation of lab materials and equipment.
- Participate in instructor calibration sessions and training program meetings.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical, electronics, controls systems, industrial automation, mechanical maintenance, or related technical field.
- Prior instructional, facilitation, or mentoring experience preferred (corporate training, adult education, or technical instruction).
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, troubleshooting electrical systems, automation systems, sensors and actuators, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components and equipment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to hybrid teaching formats and support learners at varying skill levels.
- Technical certifications in automation, robotics, or maintenance (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, FANUC, PLC, OSHA 10/30, etc.).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electro‑Mechanical Technology or related field
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas or Blackboard.
- Experience with curriculum delivery in corporate training environments, especially in logistics, manufacturing, or retail operations.
- Understanding of operational structure or experience working with technical teams.
- High School diploma or GED minimum with related field experience.
