The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies is now accepting applications for a pool of part‑time faculty positions for the academic year 2025‑2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester‑by‑semester basis. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in the BA Philosophy program.
- Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online).
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required QualificationsMA or PhD in Philosophy or related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Philosophy.
Preferred QualificationsTeaching experience in undergraduate academic philosophy.
Salary and CompensationProposed Salary:
Commensurate with experience. This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.

Abilities: Consistently exhibit engaging customer service;
Ability to support various constituencies served by the University;
Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position.
Knowledge: Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University's mission for student success.
Skills: Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills.
