TRIO & Student Support Services

Job Summary

The Student Assistant will support the TRIO/Student Support Services as a Student Tutor on the Armstrong and Liberty Campuses beginning Spring 2026.

Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

Responsibilities
  • Assists students by answering subject specific questions and in identifying and overcoming problems
  • Works with students to improve problem solving skills
  • Assists TRIO participants with class assignments
Shift Specifics
  • Up to 8 hours per week
  • Flexible with schedule of availability
  • Shifts available Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

  • Successful completion of one or more of the following courses, or equivalent courses, with a grade of B or better:

Proposed Salary

$13.00 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
