The Georgia Tech Athletic Associate (GTAA) sponsors varsity intercollegiate athletics competition in 17 NCAA Division I sports for the Georgia Institute of Technology. We are a proud member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Responsible for the oversight of areas of event operations and athletic facilities. This position will interact on a regular basis with staff of various units, coaches, campus partners and external partners. It will advise and counsel campus and external partners and does not supervise subordinates.

• Serve as primary event manager for assigned sports, and provide assistance for other team members as needed.
• Oversee parking and transportation for assigned sports.
• Coordinate and distribute all event credentials.
• Manage building scheduling and maintenance for assigned facilities.
• Assist with all National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) championships hosted by GT Athletics.
• Oversee assigned operations and facilities budgets.
• Oversee or work special events and rentals as assigned.
• Manage special projects as assigned.
• Partner to develop and execute contingency plans for emergency and severe weather scenarios.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Valid State of Georgia Driver’s License.

• Three years of job‑related experience.
