Camp Wieuca, of Church at Wieuca in Atlanta, is looking for a full-time, paid Worship Leader to work with children ages 6-13 in a Christ-centered, adventure-filled environment. Camp Wieuca is a summer day camp that provides staff and campers with creative and meaningful activities, praise and worship time, and Bible studies.

Dates
  • Staff Training – Be available beginning Tuesday, May 26 – Friday, May 30
  • Summer Camp 2026 begins Monday, June 1 and will end on Friday, July 24
  • Summer Camp lasts for 7 weeks and will be closed the week of June 29 – July 3
Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Build relationships with campers, staff, and families to ensure a positive experience
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to further teach Bible lesson principles
  • Organize and lead worship period with each age group twice a week (Lead music and/or pick worship videos depending on skill set)
  • Assist Head Staff in opening and closing procedures each day
  • Maintain CPR/First Aid certification, administer first aid as needed (training provided)
Skills and Experience Needed
  • As a faith-centered environment, the candidate selected will need to have a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Minimum of two to four years of prior related childcare or ministry experience preferred
  • Previous music/worship experience
  • Confidence in leading an engaging worship experience with groups ages 6-13
  • Above average ability to organize, manage time and set priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to be flexible and shift priorities to meet camp requirements
  • A team player with the ability to cultivate a team spirit within the camp staff
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with presentation software
  • High levels of interpersonal skills to train and assist staff in achieving Camp goals
  • Discretionary judgment and maturity accompanied by effective problem analysis and resolution skills in a loving and nurturing manner
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, sit for periods, and move with the kids
