Responsibilities:
Developing or advancing a focused program of externally funded research and teaching across undergraduate and graduate levels, mentoring students and faculty, and contributing to university and professional service.
Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership in academic or professional organizations is highly valued.
Successful candidates will have strong potential for research collaboration within the college of nursing and health professions, across Georgia State University, and with external research partners.
Opportunity to mentor PhD students in the health sciences program and secure Graduate Research Assistants to support research agenda.
Required Experience- Assistant/Associate rank:
Demonstrate a strong record of scholarly productivity with peer‑reviewed publications and evidence of external funding or high potential for securing grants. - Associate Professor rank:
At least 7 years of prior academic experience with a strong record of research productivity, including publications in top‑tier journals and successful grantmanship.
PhD or equivalent research doctoral degree in health sciences or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications /Experience- Prior experience teaching undergraduate or graduate students or research‑focused courses.
- Experience with publications and scientific presentations.
- Prior involvement in securing significant external funding.
A criminal background check is required.
SalaryCommensurate with experience.
