The Humanities Department at Perimeter College delivers a top-tier education and exceptional access to hands‑on experiences. The department is home to the disciplines of communication, humanities, journalism, philosophy, religious studies, and world languages, including American Sign Language.

Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in GERMAN who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.

Education:

To qualify to teach GERMAN, applicants must have a minimum of a Master’s degree with at least 18 semester (27 quarter) graduate hours in the teaching discipline or a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 semester (27 quarter) graduate hours in German.

Preferred Qualifications /

Experience:

Previous teaching experience, including online instruction, is preferred.

• Ability to teach GERMAN at the collegiate level:
• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
• Ability to relate to students and facilitate student learning
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent organizational and teaching skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology

A criminal background check is required.

Position may require non‑standard hours (including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend, and/or other campus locations).

$3,075 for each 3‑credit hour course taught.

Teaching German at the collegiate level.
