Among other duties, you will contribute to outreach, psycho educational program development, and presentations to enhance awareness and understanding of disability services. Additionally, you will inform your supervisor of staff development needs and actively participate in department performance improvement initiatives.
In this role, you will train SCADhome staff and academic faculty on conduct-related issues. Similarly, you will develop and implement appropriate strategies to educate the university community on student behavior and the conduct process, such as training, programs, or workshops. Responsibilities include assisting with the management of Guardian - the conduct database - and counseling individual students regarding their resources and responsibilities.
You will also assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of developmentally appropriate educational sanctions and assess data to support such efforts. Among other responsibilities, you will serve on an on-call rotation to respond to emergencies and provide guidance during crises.
In this position, you will collaborate with various internal departments to investigate reports of potential student conduct violations, assess evidence and documentation, and determine appropriate adjudication processes. You will maintain an active caseload of community standards cases and serve as a resource for conflict resolution and restorative practices. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with policies and procedural requirements of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.

This position is identified as essential personnel in the university's emergency and disaster response plans. In the event of a university closure or evacuation, all essential personnel shall report.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least two years of experience working with young adults or youth in an educational or group setting
- Experience with electronic record-keeping systems and client management
- Master's degree
- At least two years of experience in higher education student conduct or residence life
