** ABOUT

THE ROLE
** The Coordinator of School Partnerships ensures meaningful access to the High Museum of Art for prekindergarten to university-level students and teachers through the museum’s school partnership programs, such as Academic Affiliates and school district partners. This role manages both the logistics and relationships that support participating schools, with a focus on creating welcoming and inclusive experiences. The coordinator supports on-site group arrival and engagement, ensuring that participants receive high-quality, logistically smooth visits.

Part of the High’s Learning and Civic Engagement department, this role cultivates growth through inquiry and connection to self, others, and the wider world, in alignment with the museum’s mission, values, and educational methods.

*** Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
* Occasional evenings and weekends as needed

* WHAT YOU WILL DO:

**** School Fieldtrip Operations & Group Visit Welcome (40%)
*** Serve as a primary on-site contact for school group arrivals and departures.
* Oversee arrival and on-site experience for partner school groups.
* Greet and orient students, teachers, and chaperones, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
* Collaborate with Education division colleagues and Coordinator of Gallery Learning, as well as Guest Relations, Security, Housekeeping, Special Events, and other departments to ensure seamless group entry and movement.
* Assign and connect school groups with docents and teaching artists.
* Troubleshoot real-time scheduling or logistical issues with professionalism and solutions-oriented mindset.
* Maintain daily schedules and ensure all stakeholders are informed of changes or updates.
** School Partnerships Program Management (40%)
*** Administer the Academic Affiliate and school district partnership programs, alongside members of the Education team.
* Serve as primary contact for participating partner schools, building strong, supportive relationships.
* Track participation data and support reporting on program impact and reach.
** Group Sales & Scheduling Support (10%)
*** Coordinate scheduling for school partnership visits in alignment with overall fieldtrip calendar.
* Maintain accurate records and communication with schools regarding visit logistics.
** Collaboration & Program Support (5%)
*** Work closely with the Education team to align fieldtrip logistics with program goals.
* Support training and communication with docents and teaching artists related to group management.
** General Program Support (5%)
*** Assist with departmental administrative tasks including scheduling, documentation, and supply coordination.
* Participate in Education department programs and special events as needed.
