Position Description

Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in MATHEMATICS who will play a key role in educating and supporting students at the collegiate level.

Job Duties

Teach undergraduate mathematics courses as assigned.
Develop and deliver instructional materials and assessments.
Provide academic advising and support to students.
Participate in faculty meetings and departmental activities.

Required Education

Applicants must have a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to teach MATHEMATICS courses on the collegiate level
Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning
Effective oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology
Ability and experience to teach effectively in both the face‑to‑face and online modalities

Work Hours

Classes are offered morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends.

Salary

$3,825.00 for each 3‑semester credit hour course taught.
