Assistant Teacher/Preschool Extended Day Program (part-time)
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The Preschool Extended Day Program is seeking an assistant teacher to advance the mission of the School through their work. The hours are Monday – Friday 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Position SummaryThe selected candidate will assist in conducting and supervising social, recreational, and educational programs and in preparing classes for children enrolled in the Preschool Extended Day Program. The assistant teacher will work collaboratively with the teaching team, specialists, and administration to serve preschool‑aged children. Assistant teachers are expected to consistently perform high‑quality work and adapt creatively to varying situations. Knowledge and understanding of research‑based practices for language and literacy instruction are preferred.
Additional professional learning opportunities will be provided. A growth mindset is critical.
