Position Summary

The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for infants and toddlers. The ideal candidate will support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through responsive caregiving and intentional learning experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences for infants and toddlers.
  • Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and responsive classroom environment.
  • Observe, assess, and document children's growth and developmental milestones.
  • Build positive partnerships with families through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Support each child's individual needs and learning journey.
  • Maintain classroom organization and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and school leadership to provide high-quality early childhood education.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development and responsive caregiving practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
