• Independently coordinate fundraising and alumni relations events and activities to foster a continuing relationship between the James and Carolyn McAfee School of Theology and its alumni and friends.
• Encourage alumni/friends to give to the School/University through time, service, and monetary gifts.
• Ensure the School’s annual fund goals and campaign goals are met each fiscal year.
• Plan and orchestrate the academic unit’s major alumni events successfully.
• Assist and facilitate communication between alumni/friends and the School, and between the academic programs and the University.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in direct sales, business development, or related activities where relationship building is essential.
• Master’s degree in Theology, Theological Studies, or MDIV highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by the university’s carrier required due to travel.

• Clear and effective communication skills to build relationships.
• Planning and organization skills for meetings and events to engage alumni and friends.
• Writing and editing proposals, letters, and articles for soliciting gifts and providing information to constituents.
• Basic knowledge of work processing and spreadsheet applications for analysis and report preparation.
• Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to multi-task and achieve goals in a timely manner.
