ASP Counselor​/Teacher

Hours:

2:30-6:00pm.

Pay: $10-18 hourly, depending on education and/or experience.

Implement the goals of our after school care program provided by Preferred School Care. Create and execute a lesson plan with a daily schedule of age‑appropriate classroom and enrichment activities mandated by our licensing agency, DECAL.

• Plan and implement recreational, educational and cultural activities.
• Prepare and implement lesson plans/activities for after-school students.
• Meet with the team as needed for planning and preparation of activities.
• Coordinate staff support, scheduling and space for enrichment, technology and academic activities.
• Maintain the site to meet and or exceed Child Care Licensing and Quality Rated standards where possible.
• Establish and maintain positive lines of communication with parents and/or guardians of assigned participants, including monthly newsletter articles and phone calls to parents when appropriate.

Education and/or experience is required, with compensation ranging from $10 to $18 hourly based on qualifications.
