Location: Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, or San Diego

Pay: $30 hourly

As a Pro Cheer League Athlete, you will serve as a dynamic ambassador for Varsity Brands and the Pro Cheer League, combining elite athleticism, entertainment, and leadership to elevate the sport of cheer. This role demands excellence in performance, sportsmanship, and professionalism across competitions, appearances, and media engagements. You will inspire fans, mentor youth, and promote brand values through the Varsity Brands Values while executing high-impact routines and representing the league nationwide.

A Pro Cheer League Athlete will represent Varsity Brands and the Pro Cheer League by demonstration of company core values in driving the highest ethical standards of conduct in all business activities.

• Compete in high energy team routines at National Pro Cheer League events in multiple cheer categories (Stunting, Pyramids, Baskets, Standing Tumbling, Running Tumbling).
• Perform at games, league showcases, fan experiences, sponsor gatherings, and community outreach.
• Attend weekly practices and competition events; estimated total 170 hours Nov (25), Dec (25), Jan-Mar (40 per month).
• Engage professionally as a brand ambassador—sign autographs, support sponsors, and uphold team and company values.
• Mentor and inspire through youth clinics, camps, and philanthropic appearances.
• Collaborate on social media content and media interactions under guidance.
• Execute choreography with precision, athletic power, and polished stage presence.
• Learn and adapt to new routines quickly with coach direction.
• Maintain brand-compliant appearance and personal fitness.
• Assist in event planning, logistics, and promotional coordination.
• Uphold a positive, team-first attitude, resilience through feedback, and a growth mindset.

• Prior experience at high school, collegiate, all‑star, or semi/pro level in dance/tumbling/stunts.
• Strong athletic foundation: jumps, tumbling, strength, endurance & flexibility.
• Exceptional stage presence: confidence, facial expression, and performance energy.
• Outstanding teamwork, communication, and ambassadorial skills.
• Social media literacy and comfort in public-facing roles (content, interviews).
• Resilient, coachable, and cool under pressure.
• Must be at least 18 years old (league age requirement).
• Ensure reliable travel for regular face-to-face touch points.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Training/certification in dance, gymnastics, or performance arts.
• Previous experience in professional-level representation, media, or youth mentorship.

Pro Cheer League Athletes must maintain peak physical condition to perform explosive, high-energy routines multiple times per event, with strong focus on strength, flexibility, endurance, and recovery.
