Job Summary
The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for a faculty position in Biomedical Engineering. Applicants will be considered at all ranks. This search is open to all research areas in the field of Biomedical Engineering, with a special interest in individuals who add to or complement our areas of strength as found on our website ().
Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.
Successful candidates will be expected to develop a vibrant externally‑funded research program, teach undergraduate and graduate level core and elective courses, and should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and mentorship.
Required QualificationsA PhD in engineering or related field is required by the start of the appointment.

- The ability to teach and mentor a diverse student body
- The ability to promote an inclusive and welcoming educational/work environment
- The ability to mentor and assist students interested in pursuing graduate education
- The ability to engage students in experiential learning activities and pedagogy that support student success
- The ability to engage in high‑impact practices that support deep learning for student success

4) a description of teaching interests,
5) a statement that in two pages or less outlines how the applicant's professional and academic experiences have prepared them to support and apply Georgia Tech's mission and values (listed below), and
