Librarian

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain library collections including books, magazines, digital resources, and other materials.
• Assist patrons in finding information and provide guidance on using library resources.
• Manage check‑in/check‑out procedures for library materials.
• Maintain accurate records of library transactions and inventory.
• Develop programs and events to promote literacy and engage the community.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement new services or initiatives.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in librarianship.
• Train volunteers or interns who may assist with daily operations.
• Ensure a clean, welcoming environment for patrons.

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working in a library setting desirable.
• Knowledge of cataloging systems, reference tools, online databases, and print media necessary.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid biometric passport.

$1,700 per month.
