Job SummaryThe School of Psychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites nominations and applications for 4 open-rank tenure‑track faculty positions with an anticipated start date of August 2024. Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate and develop an exceptional research program.
We are particularly interested in candidates whose scholarship focuses on Applied Behavioral Sciences, including but not limited to Industrial‑Organizational Psychology, Quantitative Psychology, Human Factors/Engineering Psychology, Adult Development and Aging. Ideal candidates will place a strong emphasis on the use of quantitative and computational methodologies in the development of use‑inspired theory and research to address modern workplace and/or societal challenges. Candidates should be able to build bridges within the School, across the Institute, and beyond, fostering collaborative interactions with other School members and contributing to bridge‑building with other academic and research units at Tech and with government and industry.
A Ph.D. in Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Applied Quantitative Methods, or a related STEM field is required at the time of appointment. Candidates should have a strong record of academic accomplishments commensurate with their current academic rank and an externally funded research program or show potential to establish one. Candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship and will be expected to contribute to the undergraduate and graduate instructional missions of the School.
