Part-Time Academic Coach, ADHD & Executive Function

Responsibilities

• Meeting with students for at least 12 hours of coaching sessions/week
• Helping students strengthen executive functioning, organization, time management, planning, study skills, and follow-through
• Identifying and planning the most important topics to cover in students’ sessions
• Communicating with parents about students’ progress by text, email, and phone
• Checking in with students by text or email between sessions as needed
• Collaborating with teachers, counselors, tutors, therapists, and other professionals when appropriate
• Participating in 1:1s, small groups, team meetings, and continuing education sessions
• Contributing to team systems, student support, and other projects that help us serve families well

• A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, special education, child development, or a related field
• Professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
  Academic, ADHD, or Executive Function Coaching, Special Education, School Counseling, or Student Support, Educational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology, ABA, or related developmental/learning support, Counseling, therapy, social work, or related helping professions especially with children, teens, young adults, or families, Academic tutoring, study skills tutoring, or student success coaching
