Principal Technical Trainer and Content Developer

Atlanta, Georgia

One Trust is seeking a Principal Technical Trainer and Content Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of high‑impact technical education for customers and partners in a fast‑moving, release‑driven SaaS environment. This senior‑level role focuses on facilitating live technical training and creating scalable, digital‑first learning content that drives adoption, self‑sufficiency, and measurable business outcomes.

Your Mission

Deliver customer and partner learning experiences that accelerate time‑to‑value, increase self‑sufficiency, and improve satisfaction through modern, persona‑driven and use‑case‑focused content, labs, and instructor‑led training.

You Will
  • Deliver instructor‑led and virtual instructor‑led training for customers and partners.
  • Facilitate training using persona, use‑case, and workflow‑based instruction focused on real‑world application.
  • Guide learners through completing tasks, troubleshooting issues, and applying best practices in the platform.
  • Adapt delivery for technical, global, and mixed‑experience audiences.
  • Design, build, and maintain full‑course technical learning content across digital and live formats.
  • Develop modular, reusable content patterns and delta training that communicate product changes clearly.
  • Create assessments aligned to course objectives and real‑world application.
  • Build hands‑on labs aligned to real‑world scenarios to reinforce skill development.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, Marketing, and Legal to ensure content accuracy and alignment.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate content development, drafting, scenario generation, and release‑change summarization.
  • Operate within release‑synchronous timelines, update training assets, and conduct post‑release measurement.
You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or course development in SaaS or enterprise software environments.
  • Proven experience delivering instructor‑led training and building full‑course learning content for external audiences.
  • Experience creating customer‑facing education (not internal‑only training).
  • Strong ability to translate complex product functionality into clear, actionable learning experiences.
  • Experience building hands‑on labs and workflow‑based training.
  • Experience developing assessments aligned to learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Strong project execution skills and ability to manage work across timelines and dependencies.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate in high‑volume, release‑driven environments.
  • Experience in SaaS customer or partner enablement.
  • Experience supporting certification programs and structured learning tracks.
  • Familiarity with agile and rapid content development methodologies.
  • Experience identifying microlearning opportunities from learner behavior and support insights.
  • Experience contributing to scalable, global education programs.
  • Experience mentoring others and influencing content quality and standards.
Salary

Salary Range: $90,000 – $135,000 USD (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington; additional incentives may be available).
