Part-Time Spanish Instructor

Perimeter College is seeking part‑time instructors in Spanish who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.

While specific duties are not itemized, instructors will be expected to teach Spanish at the collegiate level, employ a variety of teaching methods, facilitate student learning, and utilize instructional technology.

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in Spanish with at least 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
• If holding a Master’s in a related field, must have at least 18 semester (27 quarter) hours of graduate Spanish coursework.

• Previous teaching experience, including online instruction.

• Ability to teach Spanish at the collegiate level.
• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods.
• Ability to relate to students and facilitate student learning.
• Effective communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.

• Criminal background check is required.
• Position may require non‑standard hours (day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend, etc.).
• Salary: $3,075 for each 3‑credit hour course taught.
