The Department of Physical Sciences is passionate about opening the minds of students to the discoveries, exploration, and dramatic potential of the world of science. In the Department of Physical Sciences at Perimeter College, students explore chemistry, physics and other science streams, building a strong foundation for further study in high-demand fields such as health care, medicine, engineering, and computer science.

Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in PHYSICS and/or ASTRONOMY who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.

Applicants must hold a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.

Teaching experience is preferred.

• Ability to teach PHYSICS / ASTRONOMY courses on the collegiate level
• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
• Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology

Classes are offered morning, afternoon, evening including weekends.

$3,825.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught.
