About the DepartmentThe English Department at Perimeter College focuses on developing students’ analytical and critical thinking, communication, creative, and critical writing skills.
Position DescriptionPerimeter College seeks limited‑term instructors in English who will teach courses across the five campuses (Alpharetta, Clarkston, Decatur, Dunwoody, Newton). Instructors may also teach Dual Enrollment classes for high school students and online courses.
Required ExperienceNone specified.
Required EducationMinimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.

- Ability to teach English at the collegiate level.
- Ability to use a variety of teaching methods, relate content to students, and facilitate learning.
