Lead Teacher, Primary School

Responsibilities:

• Build strong foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and character in Grades K-2
• Teach standards-aligned lessons daily using Ethos curricula
• Provide targeted small-group instruction based on data
• Hold high expectations for engagement, independence, and academic growth
• Communicate consistently and clearly with families about scholar progress
• Collaborate with your teaching team and instructional coaches
• Track scholar data to guide instructional decisions
• Participate in professional learning, family events, and school traditions
• Reinforce classroom systems that support learning, routines, and social-emotional growth

• Prior Experience
• Experience teaching in an elementary school setting
• Strong classroom management and skill in data-driven instruction
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Early childhood or elementary education certification preferred

Demonstrates expertise in teaching foundational skills in reading, writing, and math for Grades K-2, utilizing data-driven instruction and effective classroom management. Engages with families and collaborates with colleagues to support academic and social-emotional growth.
