Assistant Principal
The Assistant Principal serves as a key member of the school leadership team and supports the Principal in advancing the instructional vision, operational effectiveness, and overall success of the school. The Assistant Principal works collaboratively with staff, students, families, and community partners to ensure a safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous learning environment where every student can succeed. This position provides leadership in instructional improvement, student support systems, school culture and climate, and operational management.
The Assistant Principal helps ensure the effective implementation of district initiatives, promotes continuous improvement, and supports the development of high-performing educators and teams.
Minimum qualifications include a Master's Degree in Education, five years of progressively responsible experience in education, and appropriate Georgia Leadership Certification.
Skills and abilities
include strong instructional leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships and manage multiple priorities.
Performance responsibilities include instructional leadership, fostering a safe school culture, supporting daily school operations, and human capital leadership.
The position requires ability to move throughout the school campus, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, use technology, lift materials up to 25 pounds, and attend evening meetings and events.
Reports to the Principal. Salary range is competitive with an excellent benefits package. Applications will be reviewed upon submission and must be submitted by March 20, 2026.
