Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology. The Department of Psychology at Georgia State University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant and/or Associate Professor level in our Clinical Psychology Graduate Program ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).). Our program has been continuously APA-accredited since 1973 and operates under the scientist-practitioner training model. The positions could begin as early as January 2027.

Area of research specialization within clinical psychology is open. We are interested in collaborative candidates with established and active programs of research that can contribute to and complement program, department, and university strengths (see faculty areas of expertise here: ). We particularly welcome applications from individuals with expertise in assessment, intervention, psychopathology/mental health, and/or social/emotional functioning. We
are excited to review applications from candidates who use any of a range of rigorous methodologies and analytic approaches, including those who work with diverse populations across the lifespan and in varied contexts. Strong candidates who can bridge program areas (e.g., clinical-community psychologists, developmental psycho pathologists, neuropsychologists) would find a welcome home in our department. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a productive research program, mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research, supervise clinical training, and teach foundational undergraduate and graduate courses, such as assessment and/or psychopathology.

Psychology Clinic (). This doctoral training clinic provides high quality and affordable psychological services to adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples from the greater Atlanta area.

A Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in clinical psychology is required at the time of appointment.
