ARC Science Tutor - Atlanta

Tutors provide individual assistance to students. They work in the Academic Resource Center (ARC) during specified hours on the weekly schedule and tutor students during those hours. The science tutor should have the ability to tutor students who are enrolled in the following courses: CHEM 103, CHEM 104, CHEM 206, CHEM 207, and CHEM 305.

All tutors must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and sophomore standing or higher.

• 1) successfully completed the coursework;
  2) earned a B or higher grade in the Mercer University course (or when corresponding coursework has been performed in another venue, earned a B or higher grade in a related, upper level Mercer University course), and
  3) obtained a signed recommendation from the corresponding academic department.
