Job Summary

Manage and lead in planning, development, budgeting, implementation, and evaluation of precollege science, mathematics, engineering, and technology programs for teachers/students. Provide program leadership in the administration of state and district education partnerships. May be responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. Interact with faculty, staff, students, K-12 state education officials (superintendents, principals, teachers).

Responsibilities
  • Job Duty 1 - Manage and lead in the planning, development, budgeting, implementation and evaluation of programs and/or state and district education partnerships.
  • Job Duty 2 - Hire and supervise program staff and establish positive working relationships and communications with clients, internal and external staff and consultants.
  • Job Duty 3 - Develop and assess curriculum according to state and national science, mathematics, and technology standards. Provide professional development for teachers on the content and method of science and math instruction.
  • Job Duty 4 - Develop and assist in the development of proposals to external funding sources including private, state, and federal agencies.
  • Job Duty 5 - Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Educational Requirements:

    Master's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Weekends and evenings may be required for special events, dinners, football games, etc; some travel.
  • Required Experience:

    Eight to ten years job related experience.
