Specific Responsibilities
- Facilitate The Scholarship Academy’s core scholarship curriculum lessons
- Provide financial aid support (FAFSA, scholarships, grants, etc. – Training will be provided)
- Serve as Scholarship Mentors to our high school students, editing their applications and helping them research scholarships
- Maintain student portfolios and online student profiles
- Collect data and reporting outcomes to share with stakeholders, and maintaining student scholarship portfolios
- Communicate with partner organizations, vendors, and sponsors to collaborate on TSA events and programming
- Support external programming such as boot camps, workshops, scholarship lunches, etc.
- Conduct check-ins with students via the Virtual Scholarship Center online tool
- Have 2+ years of experience in academic advising, youth development, or nonprofit program coordination—ideally within college access or financial aid spaces.
- Are passionate about helping students succeed and comfortable working one-on-one with diverse student populations.
- Have strong organizational skills and thrive when managing multiple student timelines and priorities.
- Are a clear communicator who can explain complex financial aid concepts in a way that students and parents understand.
- Are tech-savvy and comfortable using Microsoft systems, virtual meeting tools, and collaborative platforms.
- Bonus:
