    The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech currently has over 650 undergraduate students, nearly 320 graduate students, 55 tenure-track faculty members, and 4 Professors of the Practice. Women comprise 50% of the undergraduate population, and more than 29% of the undergraduate student population identifies as a member of under-represented minority groups. Thirteen faculty members are women, and eight faculty members identify as a member of under-represented minority groups.

    Twenty-six faculty members hold endowed chairs or professorships with 30% of them being women faculty. The School's Strategic Vision is available .gatech.edu/strategic-vision. The 2026 U.S. News and World Report rankings place the Civil Engineering undergraduate program at #2 and the Environmental Engineering undergraduate program at #1 in the country. The corresponding graduate programs are ranked #3 and #4, respectively.
