Limited-term instructor positions are non‑tenure track, term‑to‑term appointments. Depending on need, they are renewable by the department for up to three additional semesters.

• Provide 18 semester hours of instruction per semester.
• Maintain at least 8 office hours per week.
• Work effectively, collaboratively, and professionally with faculty, staff, and students.
• Connect students with institutional resources to promote student success and progression.

Teaching experience required.

A minimum of a master’s degree in Psychology (completed by the date of appointment) or a minimum of a master’s degree with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in relevant coursework (completed by the anticipated date of appointment) is required.

• Experience teaching a variety of undergraduate level Psychology courses.
• Prior online teaching experience.

• Ability to teach Psychology courses at the collegiate level.
• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods.
• Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of instructional technology.
