Position Description

Perimeter College is seeking part‑time instructors in POLITICAL SCIENCE who will play a key role in educating and supporting students

Required Experience

None Specified.

Required Education

To qualify to teach POLITICAL SCIENCE, applicants MUST have: A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in courses designated as Political Science, and not Public Administration or International Relations.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

Teaching Experience is Preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to teach POLITICAL SCIENCE courses on the collegiate level.
  • Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods.
  • Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology
Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations, etc.

Pre‑Employment Requirements

A criminal background check is required.

Work Hours

Classes at Perimeter College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.

Salary

$3075.00 for each 3‑semester credit hour course taught
