Urban Youth Collaborative exists to transform public school campuses into communities of faith, hope, and love by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through reproducing disciple-makers among the next generation. Through campus clubs, chaplaincy programs, community service projects, and sexual risk avoidance education, UYC empowers students to lead with purpose, build healthy relationships, and discover their God-given potential.

UYC is a coalition of over 100 church partners supporting student-led faith clubs and motivational assemblies at over 100 middle and high school campuses, with active ministry presence in San Diego (CA), Spokane (WA), Greater Sacramento (CA), Columbia (SC), Atlanta (GA), Tijuana (MX), and Addis Ababa (ET) — and emerging locations worldwide. What began as one youth pastor's conviction that public schools are the last place in American culture where nearly every young person still gathers has grown into a movement across multiple cities and countries, built on the belief that God wants his kids back.

Atlanta Public Schools serves approximately 50,000 students across more than 100 school sites, with a student body that is roughly 90 percent minority and nearly three-quarters economically disadvantaged, qualifying for free or reduced lunch. Georgia's teen birth rate remains meaningfully above the national average, underscoring the ongoing need for mentoring, healthy relationship education, and spiritual grounding among the city's youth.

UYC already has an established foothold in Atlanta through Project 25 Southeast US, a regional affiliate of UYC's national Project 25 initiative headquartered in Atlanta. Project 25 mobilizes middle and high school students to design and lead their own community-impact projects, connecting them to local churches and equipping them as change agents in their own families, schools, and neighborhoods. This existing presence gives the incoming City Director a genuine head start — real relationships with schools, churches, and student leaders already engaged through Project 25 Southeast — as UYC works to build out a fuller ministry presence across the city.

We're looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial ministry leader to serve as City Director, building and expanding UYC's ministry presence in Atlanta. This is a builder's role: you will personally deepen and expand campus ministry relationships, build a staff and volunteer base over time, and create the foundation for a thriving city operation.

You'll work directly on campus in ministry relationships with student leaders, church partners, and school allies, while also carrying responsibility for the long-term vision and strategy of the Atlanta market. Much like a coach who equips others to play the game rather than stepping onto the field themselves, your greatest impact will come through developing student leaders and future team members who carry the ministry forward in their own schools and communities.

• Build and expand UYC's ministry presence in Atlanta, deepening relationships with schools, churches, and student leaders already engaged through Project 25 Southeast, while establishing new campus partnerships across the city.
• Provide Student Leadership Training so students can legally launch and lead their own faith clubs on public school campuses.
• Partner with local churches to provide Church Leadership training, and equip parents and volunteers through Parent & Volunteer Leadership training.
