The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University has a student body of 1,200 undergraduates, 425 graduate students, and 80 primary and 73 program faculty. The department seeks a visionary scholar-educator and proven leader in high impact and emerging areas of importance to human health and biomedicine. A non-exhaustive list of related topics in the department's current research portfolio include strengths in regenerative medicine and cell-based therapeutics, biomaterials, immunoengineering, cancer technologies, and health informatics.
