The Training Coach II is an experienced, field-based training professional responsible for delivering, coordinating, and supporting clinical and operational training programs within the assigned market. This role facilitates onboarding, classroom instruction, and in-center training activities to ensure Training Coach and MA learners successfully transition from training to independent active support for providers in the market. When needed, the Training Coach II will support providers as a Medical Assistant (MA) in the market with patient care and function as a role model for other Medical Assistants.

The Training Coach II monitors learner progress, validates competencies, maintains training records and reporting tools, and provides coaching and feedback to support performance and readiness. Working closely with Training and Operations Leadership, this individual helps identify training needs, address performance gaps, and promote consistency in training delivery, standardized workflows, and organizational training practices. As an individual contributor, the Training Coach II serves as a training resource and subject matter expert, supporting workforce readiness, operational alignment, compliance, and a positive learner experience.

Qualifications

Education Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

Licenses/Certifications

Required:

Active clinical certification or license (MA, EMT, Paramedic, or LPN)
Required certifications (e.g., BLS)
Work Experience

Required:

2+ years of clinical experience in urgent care, outpatient, or similar clinical settings

Prior experience as a Training Coach, Preceptor, or equivalent role Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Preferred Qualifications , Education, Licenses, Certifications, Experience, etc.:

Experience supporting onboarding and training programs

Prior experience as a Training Coach, Preceptor, or Super User Urgent care or multi-site clinic experience

Introductory experience facilitating training or coaching peers

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, learning management systems (LMS), and other business technologies.

Demonstrated adaptability, professionalism, accountability, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
