We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer / Associate (Infrastructure Risk) for our Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Atlanta, GA.
You will be responsible for- Developing and implementing analytical tools and frameworks to characterize and assess critical infrastructure risks and support decision making
- Performing quantitative and probabilistic risk analysis to determine the impacts of hazards on infrastructure
- Performing engineering analyses related to project work in the energy sector
- Preparing technical reports and presentations related to project work in the energy sector
- Ph.D. in Civil/Structural Engineering
- EIT or PE (Civil) or the ability to obtain a Professional Engineer license within 3 years
- Technical background in probabilistic risk analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills (Writes clearly and concisely; writing is thorough and technically accurate; Speaks clearly and concisely)
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industry
- Applies technical knowledge, creativity and innovation in completing assignments
- Efficient and poised under stress; receptive to changes and new ideas; ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to support multiple group projects
