Transportation Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia
. This on-site role will support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, intersections, traffic operations, and multimodal facilities. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, planners, and clients to develop practical, safe, and cost-effective transportation solutions.

• Perform transportation engineering analysis and design for roadway and traffic projects
• Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
• Conduct traffic studies, capacity analysis, and safety evaluations
• Design roadway geometry, intersections, and traffic control plans
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies
• Review plans for compliance with local, state, and federal standards
• Assist with project management tasks, schedules, and deliverables
• Participate in meetings, field reviews, and site visits as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 2–8+ years of experience in transportation or traffic engineering (level dependent)
• Engineer in Training (EIT) required;
  Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
• Working knowledge of AASHTO, GDOT, and MUTCD standards
• Proficiency in transportation engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, or similar tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site, collaborative environment
