Overview

Printed Circuits Corp (PCC) is a fast-growing, U.S.

-based Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider supporting medical, aerospace, defense, industrial, and other high-reliability OEM customers. As we continue to scale our operations, we are seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer who thrives on the manufacturing floor and works side-by-side with production, engineering, and quality teams to drive results.

Responsibilities
  • Own and execute shop-floor quality support, providing real-time guidance to production teams
  • Develop and maintain Quality Control Plans, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria per IPC standards
  • Program and/or validate SPI, AOI, & X-Ray machines
  • Perform root cause analysis, corrective actions (RCCA/CAPA) for internal and customer issues
  • Review customer drawings, specifications, and flowdowns to ensure compliance before and during builds
  • Lead and support FAIs (AS9102), first article builds, and customer audits
  • Partner closely with Process, Manufacturing, and Test Engineering to prevent defects and improve yields
  • Analyze defect data, trends, and escapes to drive continuous improvement
  • Support document control, work instruction reviews, and ECO/PCN implementation
  • Assist with supplier quality issues and incoming inspection as needed
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in EMS, electronics manufacturing, medical devices, or other regulated industries
  • Strong working knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and electronic inspection practices
  • Experience in ISO 9001 / AS9100 environments (medical experience a plus)
  • Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor, not just behind a desk
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward action
  • Experience with FAIs, PFMEAs, control plans, and corrective action systems preferred
