Printed Circuits Corp (PCC) is a fast-growing, U.S.
-based Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider supporting medical, aerospace, defense, industrial, and other high-reliability OEM customers. As PCC continues to scale production volume and technical complexity, we are seeking an Operations Manager to lead manufacturing execution and engineering functions while ensuring consistent performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.
This is a hands-on, fully on-site leadership role with direct ownership of both Operations and Engineering execution.
What You’ll Do- Own daily manufacturing operations across SMT, THT, box build, test, and support functions
- Provide direct leadership and oversight for Manufacturing, Process, Test, and Quality Engineering teams
- Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) performance across operations and engineering
- Ensure strong alignment between Engineering and Production for NPI, first articles, and sustaining builds
- Lead and develop Production Managers, Manufacturing Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and Leads
- Execute the master production plan and resolve cross-functional constraints
- Ensure engineering deliverables are production-ready (WIs, routings, test plans, control plans)
- Partner with Quality to maintain audit readiness and compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, IPC, and customer requirements
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and engineering-driven issues
- Support NPI, pilot builds, production ramps, and customer onboarding
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across yield, throughput, labor efficiency, and cost
- Manage staffing, cross-training, and workload balance across operations and engineering teams
- Establish and maintain clear KPIs, operating rhythms, escalation paths, and reporting
- Communicate performance, risks, and recovery plans to executive leadership
- 10 years of experience in operations and/or engineering leadership within EMS or electronics manufacturing
- Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing, SMT, box build, test, and high-mix environments
- Proven experience leading both manufacturing and engineering teams
- Experience operating in ISO 9001 / AS9100 regulated environments
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to bridge engineering intent and production reality
- Hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to balance floor-level execution with tactical planning
- Comfortable working on-site and on the manufacturing floor daily
- US Work Authorization Requirement
- Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders
- No H-1B or other visa sponsorship available
