Overview
Inte Pros is seeking a Data Engineer to support the DCE Analytics organization on a data migration initiative. This role focuses on migrating data from an external cluster to the team’s cluster while building mechanisms to retrieve, aggregate, and optimize operational data for downstream business intelligence solutions. The position is highly technical and execution-focused, requiring strong ETL, query optimization, and cloud data platform expertise.

- Support migration of data from an external cluster to the team cluster
- Build mechanisms for retrieving and aggregating operational data
- Prepare data for use by downstream business intelligence solutions
- Optimize performance of data queries
- Address extract, transform, load (ETL) procedures
- Maintain efficient and reliable data workflows
- Work with AWS technologies including:
- Redshift
- S3
- AWS Glue
- EMR
- Kinesis
- Fire Hose
- Lambda
- IAM roles and permissions
- Understanding of operational data from the AWS fleet and ability to build mechanisms for retrieving and aggregating such data
- Experience optimizing query performance and managing ETL procedures
- Hands-on experience with AWS technologies including Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Fire Hose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with non-relational databases or data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
- Experience performing deep-dives to identify root causes of data anomalies and taking corrective action
- 3–5 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Background working as a data engineer with large datasets
- Experience in technology industry environments
- Ability to independently manage data engineering tasks
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Focus on delivering reliable, high-quality data solutions
