• Managing projects from initiation to completion; communicating project updates to team members, clients, and staff; ensuring deadlines and high‑quality work; identifying business development opportunities.
• Identifying and performing original research that furthers knowledge in accident reconstruction or automotive technology.
• Developing specialized expertise in automotive fields such as design, performance of existing or emerging automotive technology, or analysis and reconstruction of transportation accidents.
• Traveling to perform site, scene, vehicle, and equipment inspections.
• Preparing written reports and presenting results to diverse audiences.
• Willing and able to work overtime occasionally to fulfill client needs.

• Master’s degree (with thesis) or Ph.D. in Engineering, at least one in Mechanical Engineering.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (no immigration sponsorship required).
• Knowledge and interest in automotive systems and vehicles.
• Field and/or lab measurement experience with excellent hands‑on skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of dynamics, mechanical design, and 3D CAD.
• PE license or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong leadership, verbal communication, and ability to synthesize & present technical information to non‑technical audiences.
• Clear written communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience writing a thesis, dissertation, peer‑reviewed paper, and/or presenting at conferences.
• Proven dedication to quality and accuracy.
