Overview
Director of Engineering for Honeywell Building Management Solutions V&A portfolio, leading and managing the engineering function for Valve and Actuator globally. Responsible for providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight to the engineering teams working on these solutions. Reports to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and will work on-site in Atlanta, GA or Plymouth, MN.
This role offers opportunities to drive innovation, ensure product quality, and achieve business objectives for the Valve and Actuator business. The position requires strategic leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs. Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering function for Valve and Actuator portfolio globally
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects for these solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Manage and optimize engineering resources, budgets, and timelines for these solutions
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on these solutions
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 10 plus years of experience in engineering leadership roles
- Prior experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong technical expertise in building management solutions for Valves and Actuators
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in project management and execution
- Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships

Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position varies by location (California and New York, excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $200,000 - $240,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the range is $200,000 - $240,000. This salary information is a general guideline;
Honeywell may consider factors such as scope and responsibilities of the role, candidate experience, education and training, key skills, and market conditions. This position is incentive plan eligible.
