This Partner-level role is critical to helping our clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes and deliver capital projects that power communities and economies.

• Lead high-profile transmission and distribution projects across North America.
• Guide clients through CPCN and other state-level siting processes.
• Mentor and grow technical teams in environmental assessment, routing, and permitting.
• Expand ERM’s market presence through strategic client engagement and thought leadership.
• Influence ERM’s direction as a Partner with equity and decision‑making authority.

• BA/BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in either a consulting environment or working substantially with the Power/Renewables Sector, including substantial experience with delivery of projects associated with renewable generation, transmission, and distribution.
• Expertise in CPCN or equivalent state-level siting processes.
• Proven business development success with multi-million-dollar programs.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

• Established relationships in the power and renewables sector.
• Experience in the upper Midwest and Northeast transmission markets.
• Insight into emerging trends in grid modernization and renewable integration.

• Cultivate and expand client relationships with top-tier energy companies.
• Deliver strategic consulting services that drive innovation and exceed expectations.
• Lead project execution across environmental impact assessments, permitting, and compliance.
• Ensure excellence in health & safety, financial performance, and risk management.
• Contribute to ERM’s thought leadership and sector differentiation.

For the Partner, Electric Transmission & Distribution position, the anticipated annual base pay is $175,000 – $220,000 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
