Product Engineer Job Description
- Manage and approve new sample orders for automotive products.
- Track and create records for customer documents and manufacturing processes.
- Learn about ESSEX Solutions product offerings, NEMA, and international standards (IEC, JIS, KS, etc.) to support magnet wire plants and customers with technical Q/A.
- Review and summarize customer drawings and documents.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, quality, logistics, and manufacturing teams.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report progress in a timely manner.
- Perform additional technical services tasks to support customers and the inside sales team as required.
- Mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Experience in development and design.
- Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Experience with PLM or ERP systems.
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings and BOM.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, internships included.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a significant advantage.
This is a primarily desk‑based position located in the engineering center, which features a modern, clean, and recently renovated office environment. The center includes a development lab and offers a traditional office setting. There is minimal interaction required with the production floor.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.50/hr.
