We are partnered with a well-known national firm seeking a Project Manager focused on data center and mission critical projects. You must be comfortable on-site/traveling to locations. You will be required seeing projects through the entire lifecycle being involved with scheduling, cost management, design, construction, and commissioning. We are also open to discussing other locations throughout the US.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead all phases of data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and cost controls
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams
- Oversee MEP systems installation (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection) critical to mission-critical environments
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project preferred)
- Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage RFI, submittal, and change order processes
- Maintain strong communication with clients, owners, and stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
- Support commissioning activities and turnover documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably within data center, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial projects
- Experience managing ground-up and/or fit‑out data center builds
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and critical infrastructure (UPS, generators, switch gear, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast‑paced project environments
- Proficiency in scheduling and project management software
- Strong financial management and cost control experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (50–100%)
