Amdocs Billing SAMSON Product Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Product Engineer with hands-on experience in the Amdocs SAMSON Billing System.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing customer issues, designing innovative solutions, and facilitating deployments that enhance client satisfaction.

This role requires strong technical expertise in billing management systems and the ability to work directly with clients in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze customer issues, design effective solutions, and oversee deployment to ensure client satisfaction.
• Contribute to solution proposals and design documentation based on technical expertise.
• Configure products according to design specifications and support conference room pilots.
• Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept workshops, and prepare effort estimates aligned with budgetary guidelines.
• Lead small projects and contribute to organizational initiatives focused on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to develop value-creating strategies that drive innovation and profitability.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Apply logical thinking and problem-solving skills in cross-functional team environments.
• Assess current processes, identify improvement areas, and recommend technology solutions.
• Interface with clients and manage project and team activities effectively.

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Amdocs SAMSON Billing platform or similar billing systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Experience in client-facing roles and managing project deliverables.
• Proficiency in software configuration management systems.
• Understanding of financial processes in project management, including modeling and budgeting.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience in automation testing and eagerness to grow in this area.
• Familiarity with one or two industry domains.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and pricing strategies.
• Exposure to project and team management practices.
